Marketing Assistant - contract role - Now until end of 2025 (with the scope to come on FT in 2026!)

We’re on the hunt for a Marketing Assistant to join the Kennedy Studio crew, someone curious, creative and ready to jump right in.

As our Marketing Assistant, you are our secret weapon and the cherry on top our marketing team. This isn’t a “grab coffee and file papers” kind of role.

You’ll be hands-on across clients, content, and campaigns from day one. Think: helping plan shoots, writing captions, scheduling posts, pulling together decks, and generally keeping the wheels spinning and ideas flowing.

If you’re organised, love a good brief, and have a feed full of saved posts, TikToks and inspo folders, we think you’ll fit right in.

A snapshot of what you’ll do:

• Support the team (and our clients!) across all things content and comms.

• Help plan, build and schedule social media content that actually lands.

• Write captions, emails, and other copy that sounds human (not corporate).

• Assist with content creation, from reels and photos to templates and blogs.

• Keep campaigns, assets, and client requests running smoothly.

• Sit in on meetings, contribute ideas, and help bring them to life.

A bit about you:

• You might be fresh out of uni or have 1 - 2 years of marketing experience.

• You get social media: what works, what doesn’t, and why.

• Canva, Adobe, InDesign or a good reel editing app? You’re in your element.

• You’re adaptable, proactive, and genuinely love learning new things.

• You can switch between clients and tasks without missing a beat.

• You’re an organised prowess with razor-sharp attention to detail and accuracy.
